Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 3,700 mAh battery: price, specs

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday. As expected, after a series of leaks and rumors, the all-new foldable clamshell smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It comes as the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 from the last 12 months and features an IPX8 waterproof build with Samsung’s Armor Aluminum frame. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus security on the display and back. In addition to the Flex mode, in which apps automatically adapt to the folded display, Samsung has packed the FlexCam function into the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to take pictures and videos hands-free. It is supported by a 3,700 mAh battery.

The value of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 starts at $999 (roughly Rs. 79,000). The phone will likely be available in Blue, Bora Purple, Graphite and Pink Gold colors and can have three RAM + storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB to choose from.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to be available in select markets around the world from August 26th. India details, details and Galaxy Z Flip 4 availability are yet to be announced.

Samsung bundled the Galaxy Z Flip 4 with a 3,700mAh battery that helps with 25W fast charging. It can also be mentioned that the battery can be charged from zero to 50% in just half an hour. The phone also supports Quick Wi-Fi Charging 2.0 and Wi-Fi PowerShare.

It measures 71.9 x 84.9 x 17.1mm when folded and 71.9 x 165.2 x 6.9mm when unfolded. It weighs 187 grams. The Galaxy Z Flip 4’s load is barely heavier than the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s 183 grams. The hinge of the brand new gadget is now smaller at 1.2 mm.

Just like the outdated mannequin, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is IPX8 water resistant and made from Samsung’s Armor Aluminum.
